What is Strong Mum?

Strong Mum is a community of like minded new mums and mums to be, who want safe and expert training in the solidarity of a local community. Here at Milo and the Bull, we do not believe that having a baby should be an obstacle in enjoying the benefits of staying strong, fit and healthy. For most, the biggest obstacle is having to organise childcare. That is why, at Strong Mum, we welcome babies to join you in the studio while you workout.

We offer Strength and conditioning each week giving our mum’s the perfect blend of building strength and fitness while looking after your body, mind, and mobility.

Classes can be bought in class packs of 1, 5 and 10. Classes can be used at any studio.


How does Strong Mum work?

If you purchase a class pack we ask you to kindly book into class in advance. All classes have a max capacity of 8 people to ensure the safety of mums and babies.

These classes are set up to offer safe, fun classes for pre/post-natal women. We welcome babies into the studio.

We welcome all babies up to walking age. Please note, we cannot accept babies who are walking for their safety and the safety of our other mums and babies.

‘Having not been to a circuit class since having my first daughter 3 years ago, I was a bit apprehensive about starting again following two pregnancies & a long time away from a gym. But I signed up to Strong Mum as it was an exercise class, close to my flat that I could bring my baby to & start training again. I was not expecting to love it so much. It’s a great class that caters to all abilities & my baby also loves watching the class and other babies while we train. I started coming to Strong Mum when my baby was 8 weeks old. I thought it would be hard start back so soon with weights but Julia was so welcoming. There are always variations to ensure you are working at a challenging level you are comfortable with and my baby loves it! In the beginning he mostly slept through the classes but now he loves rolling around on the mats, playing with toys and watching everything around him.
